Most Watched TV Show on TV Time 2022
The new year has begun, which means that 2022 is up for assessment in every way. The world is looking back on last year and piecing together its biggest winners, from societal improvements to entertainment trends. Of course, this means that reports about television are aplenty, and TV Time recently surprised everyone with its data on the most-watched shows in 2022.
The first season of Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon concluded last month to rave acclaim from both crowds and critics. It shattered viewership and television ratings across several platforms, becoming the most-watched show on HBO as well as the most pirated show in the world. Some have even compared it to the first season of Game of Thrones.
Wednesday and Stranger Things, on the other hand, were the most popular Netflix originals in 2022, ranking second. Stranger Things might be at the top of the podium by the end of 2023 with one more season to go. According to a recent TV Time estimate, House of the Dragon will be one of the top five most watched TV shows in 2022.
But surprisingly longest running Shonen Jump Anime that comes on top of all other shows is One Piece by Eiichiro Oda with over 1000+ episodes which make it such.

While One Piece was the most watched show in 2022, the MC only made it to third place, with Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams taking first place and Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven coming in second. Stranger Things didn't win the gold medal this time, but the series has a history of finishing in second place.
