Four Emperors, Yonko - One Piece
Who are Yonko or Four Emperors?
In One Piece Mythos, The Four Emperors, one of the Three Great Powers, are a group of four pirates regarded as the world's most notorious and powerful captains. The Emperors are currently Red-Haired Shanks, Blackbeard, Straw Hat Luffy, and Buggy the Star Clown; former known members include Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaidou of the Beasts.
The Four Emperors are not usually allies, yet they are not always adversaries. Rather, the four prefer to be autonomous in most situations. Individually, the Emperors have historically dwelt within the second half of the Grand Line known as the "New World", wielding considerable influence and power over hundreds of other pirate crews and self-governing islands. In comparison to antagonistic people and groups encountered by the Straw Hat Pirates early in the story, the Emperors pose a significantly greater threat throughout the second half of the One Piece series, most notably in the Whole Cake Island Saga and Wano Country Saga, where Big Mom and Kaidou serve as the main respective antagonists.
